With encouragement from professional artists and the excitement of a workshop with renowned portrait painter Daniel Greene, the decision was made to move to New Mexico with its rich, artistic heritage and become a full time artist. So, he moved to Albuquerque in 1980 where he painted for 5 years. This resulted in his work appearing in New Mexico's finest galleries.

After 5 years he moved to Colorado, Wyoming and back to Colorado, And now in Loveland, he devotes busy days to painting and the business of art from his studio, galleries and in shows near and far.
